Malaga Sets on the southern tip of Spain just below Cordoba. Malaga may not have the architectural beauty like its neighboring cities, Granada, Sevilla, or Cordoba, but offers the visitor natural beauty by its impressive mountain ranges and essential Andalucian villages.
Visit: Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle, the white Andalucian villages, and the gorgeous beaches.
Gibralfaro Castle and the Alcazaba are without doubt the best preserved Arab monuments. The Gibralfaro Castle was built for the cities defense by the Moorish king Badis and the Alcazaba is the palaces fortress for the rulers.
The white villages of Ronda, Zahara de la Sierra and Ubrique deserve special mention. Ronda claims to play host to the oldest bullring in Spain.
It is now a place where fans of La Corrida gather and visit. There is also an interesting museum attached.
The busiest beaches of Spain are along the Costa del Sol, which is good if you're seeking atmosphere and fun.
